He has handled complex trade remedy cases under the U.S. Antidumping and Countervailing duty laws, as well as action under section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 concerning unfair trade practices and section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 involving duties on steel and aluminum and has successfully obtained exemptions for many of his clients. Les is also a registered lobbyist focusing primarily on trade and customs legislation and regulatory issues relating to the automotive industry including safety.
