Step up and Step Out at ACS’s Cattle Baron’s Ball
September 24 at Cobo Hall in Detroit
I would like to share with you an event that represents a unique opportunity for you to step up and step out.
The Cattle Baron’s Ball is one of Detroit’s most distinguished events. This one-of-a-kind western themed evening has raised over$14M for the American Cancer Society.
Led this year by Bosch, Ford Motor Company and Lear Corporation and chaired by Ken Hopkins, President & CEO of Neapco Holdings, LLC., the evening features Detroit’s top executives and community leaders working together to envision a cancer-free world.
It’s also a great networking opportunity where you can meet others who care in a fun and relaxed setting. Guests enjoy music and dancing throughout the evening ranging from local favorite Annabelle Road to featured performer Nashville’s Brooke Eden, as well as Karen Newman. Late night fun continues with dancing to a DJ and late night nosh.
The event is designed as an evening of inspiration centered around saving lives and celebrating life. Cattle Baron’s Ball fuels ACS’s crucial mission to achieve a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. Funds raised directly support resources here in Michigan and across the country such as access to care, transportation to treatment, lodging for patients and caregivers, and funding for research.
Detroit’s favorite cowboy shindig takes place Saturday Sept. 24 at Detroit’s stunning Cobo Center. It features cuisine from the area’s best chefs, exceptional live and silent auctions, western fun and boot-scootin’ entertainment.
Cattle Baron’s Ball also features high-end live and silent auctions that generate fun competition throughout the evening. Among items of note in the live auction conducted by an auctioneer are Executive Experiences, Detroit Sports Suites, tickets to the World Series, College Football National Championships and Grammy’s, and luxury vacation destinations. The evening’s raffle prize is a Bucket List Trip for 2 to Napa Valley.
This year American Cancer Society has created a new way to experience this event. The Patron Ticket is limited to 100 and has several perks including an invitation to the VIP Party as well as reserved seating during the program. You can purchase the $500 Patron ticket at cbbdetroit.com.
We hope to see you at Cattle Baron’s Ball where you can step up and step out for Hope on the Range.
