About Jose Ruiz:
Jose Ruiz serves as Alder Koten’s Chief Executive Officer and leads the firm’s manufacturing and operations practice. He is involved in executive search work focused on board members, CEOs, and senior-level executives. Prior to joining Alder Koten, Jose was a Principal with Heidrick & Struggles’ Global Industrial Practice based in Houston, TX and Monterrey, Mexico. Jose’s professional experience prior to executive search includes positions in engineering and operations management working for manufacturing organizations in the United States and Mexico. His professional experience includes serving as vice president and general manager at Holley Performance Products. Previous to that, Jose held positions in organizational development, human resources, quality management, project management, engineering and equipment design with Frisa Forjados in Monterrey, NL and Energy Labs Inc. in San Diego, CA. He holds a Master’s Degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University; a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from the Instituto Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Jose lives in The Woodlands, TX with his wife and their two sons and splits his time between the US and Mexico.
