Mexico Legal News 2017: Mexican Companies must comply during 2017

1. F96.
Notice to the Mexican IRS informing the Tax ID Number of foreign shareholders or partners, which shall be led within the rest 3 months of the year.  Filing this notice releases the foreign stockholders from the obligation to be logged in the Mexican Tax Registry.

2. General Ordinary Shareholders or Partners Meeting, approving the Financial Statements for the prior cal year (January 1 to December 31, 2016).

3. Annual  Economic  Notice
Applicable to companies that had, during the prior year, transactions that involve assets, liabilities, income or expenses that represent at least $110,000,000  (One Hundred Ten Million) pesos. This notice must be led either in April or May, based on the initial letter of the company’s name.

4. Quarterly Report
This report must be led if any of the following have been changed or modied:

a. Name of the Company;
b. Company’s Activity (corporate purpose);
c. Tax Address; or
d.  Capital Stock or stockholders that represent more than $20’000,000 (Twenty Million) pesos.

Should  income  and/or  expenses  during  the  previous quarter   are   in   an   excess   of   $20,000,000   (Twenty Million) pesos, this report must be led as well. This Quarterly report must be led within the first ten (10) business days after each quarter.

5. SIEM
Registration  and  renewal  before  SIEM  (Data System of Mexican Business).  This registration is followed before Ministry of Economy and is renewed annually depending on the date of rst registration.

6. The Capital Variations Ledger must  be  updated whenever the capital stock changes (increased or reduced).
